Not every sealing job calls for metal or high-temp gasket designs. For many industrial applications, the right soft gasketing material is the most effective solution—especially when you need compressibility, dependable sealing, and fast replacement parts.

At Plastics Fabricating & Machining, we supply soft gasket sheet and fabricate custom-cut gaskets from a wide range of materials. Whether you’re replacing a worn gasket, building maintenance kits, or preparing for a shutdown, we can cut to your drawing, sample, or measurements.

  • EPDM – common for water-related and outdoor environments (when compatible)
  • Neoprene – versatile general-purpose gasketing
  • Viton® (FKM) – higher-performance option for many oils/fuels/chemicals (spec dependent)
  • Silicone – flexible material often selected for temperature stability and clean sealing needs
  • Cork and cork-blended materials are frequently used where compressibility and sealing are needed in non-metal applications. Often chosen for light industrial sealing and equipment covers.
  • Felt & Leather Felt and leather gasketing can be used for sealing, wicking, cushioning, and mechanical isolation depending on the application.
  • Vegetable Fiber Materials Used in certain industrial sealing and insulating applications where a fiber-based sheet is specified.
  • Sponge Rubber Provides high compressibility and is often used for panel sealing, dust/moisture barriers, and enclosures.
  • Gum Rubber A flexible, non-reinforced rubber option commonly used for general sealing and cushioning applications.
